Emphasis on adult and pediatric reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, clinical research, clinical medicine, imaging, orthopedics, podiatric sports medicine, diabetic foot care and limb salvage. Resident education included structured work with the Baja Crippled Children’s Project, providing advanced experience in the management of congenital, acquired, and neuromuscular disorders of the human locomotor system.

Personal History and Interests
Victor Vincent Cachia was born December 26, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Theresa Cachia, European Immigrants. He is the youngest of four boys. He relocated to California in 1971. During schooling, he remained interested in wood and metalworking and became an auto mechanic. A waterman at heart, he competed in water polo and swimming during high school and college, and went on to compete in several short course triathlons during and after medical school. He has always had a passion for the ocean, surfing, and travel.
Dr. Cachia lives in San Juan Capistrano, California with his wife Jo Lynn and his children Alexandra and Victoria.
